Kickstarter. Dwa produkty. Grafen.

W przypadku IEMów (Zolo) Liberty+ mówimy o czymś (jeszcze) bardziej awangardowym, bo zastosowano tam BT 5.0 (łatwiejsze i pewniejsze, stabilniejsze parowanie, jeszcze mniejsze zapotrzebowanie energetyczne modułu, lepszy zasięg), wprowadzono integrację popularnych asystentów (Amazon/Google/Apple) wreszcie w prawdziwie unikalny sposób ZMINIATURYZOWANO same doki. To właśnie ten przełom.

LOUDSPEAKER HISTORY

Many of the recent advancements in loudspeakers and headphones have focused on the addition of digital processing (DSP). While DSP is a powerful tool, it can only act as a Band-Aid to mask the inherent performance issues of this century-old technology. ORA, instead, applies its expertise in nanotechnology and materials science to fundamentally improve the core of the loudspeaker and provide a level of quality and efficiency not possible from other consumer technologies.

UNCOMPROMISING SOUND

ORA’s patented GrapheneQ material is acoustically optimized to produce the smoothest, most extended frequency response for a true-to-life listening experience that will make you forget you are listening to loudspeakers.

  • Eliminates distortion for the most accurate audio
  • Detailed highs, crystal clear mids, and robust bass
  • Increased audio clarity through nano-scale audio precision
  • Lifelike, high resolution listening experience

IT’S ALL ABOUT EFFICIENCY

Speakers are probably the least efficient technology that we still use in our day to day lives. Less than 1% of the electrical power that goes into a speaker is converted into sound power. Graphene’s lightweight and low density properties means that it requires a lot less energy to move the membrane and produce sound.

ORA’s GrapheneQ enables far more energy-efficient loudspeakers.

A TECHNICAL INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHENE

Graphene is a new material, first isolated only 13 years ago. Formed from a single layer of carbon atoms, Graphene is a hexagonal crystal lattice in a perfect honeycomb structure. This fundamental geometry makes Graphene ridiculously strong and lightweight. In its pure form, Graphene is a single atomic layer of carbon. It can be very expensive and difficult to produce in sizes any bigger than small flakes. These challenges have prevented pristine Graphene from being integrated into consumer technologies.

THE GRAPHENEQ™ SOLUTION

At ORA, we’ve spent the last few years creating GrapheneQ, our own, proprietary Graphene-based nanocomposite formulation. We’ve specifically designed and optimized it for use in acoustic transducers. GrapheneQ is a composite material which is over 95% Graphene by weight. It is formed by depositing flakes of Graphene into thousands of layers that are bonded together with proprietary cross-linking agents. Rather than trying to form one, continuous layer of Graphene, GrapheneQ stacks flakes of Graphene together into a laminate material that preserves the benefits of Graphene while allowing the material to be formed into loudspeaker cones.

As loudspeaker cones move back and forth, transverse waves can also move through the membrane. Stiffer materials hold their shape better and prevent these transverse waves from coloring the sound.

The polymer membrane is exhibiting speaker “Break-Up” where one part of the cone is moving forward (Blue) while another part of the cone is moving backward (Red). This causes distortion and cancellations at certain frequencies producing an irregular frequency response.

We’ve achieved breathtaking audio fidelity thanks to a lab-created material called Graphene; a nanosheet with 100 times the hardness of steel yet only a fraction of the weight. Through laboratory tests, we discovered applying a layer of graphene to a dynamic driver created an astonishing improvement in sound quality.

As the graphene-coated driver vibrates back and forth to create sound, its extra rigidity and lightness ensure precision oscillation. The result: superior sound across the entire frequency spectrum; with a dramatic enhancement for treble and overall clarity.

Everyone’s ears are different. How will we make sure Liberty+ fits everyone, perfectly?

We spent over a year analyzing thousands of ears, inserting hundreds of earphones, and squeezing seemingly infinite eartips. It appeared that a suitable material was beyond current technology. Eventually though, our perseverance paid off as we struck audiological gold.

The Perfect Fit

Liberty+’s in-ear comfort is guaranteed thanks to eartips engineered from liquid-silicon. Softer and more pliable than standard tips, they gently slide into and adapt to any and all ears. The extra-secure seal offers superior sound and isolation with zero discomfort.

GripFit Technology

The task of inserting total-wireless earphones has turned listening pleasure into arduous frustration. And once they’re finally in, it can still feel like a gentle breeze might pull them out.

Liberty+ will use the same wireless communication technology as satellites and drones. The specialized hardware is known as an LDS antenna. Instead of being an independent component of the device, we’ve devised a way for the Bluetooth antenna to integrate with the earphone body itself. This larger surface area means a stronger connection. A stronger connection means music is streamed flawlessly. No skips, no drops.

Bluetooth 5.0 is the ubiquitous wireless technology’s latest iteration. At the time of its release, Liberty+ will be one of the only devices to take advantage of its features.

  • Doubled data transmission speed
  • Bigger range
  • 800% increase in data-transfer capacity

Liberty+’s LDS antenna and Bluetooth 5.0 technology synergize to offer unbreakable connectivity within a 10m range.

With Liberty+ using such cutting-edge hardware, it is essential that the software is intuitive and effortless to use—both on iOS and Android. Using some innovative coding and a huge amount of patience, we have streamlined Liberty+’s pairing process down to 2 simple steps: Push and Go.

After the initial pairing, Liberty+ will automatically connect to your phone as soon as you remove them from the case.
